Gallery Submission Guidelines
We're inviting artists to create bold, original responses to the Festival's themes.
We would love to present your work in a curated collection of limited-edition posters — sold through the Festival platform to a wide, engaged audience.
Whether you're an emerging talent or an established name, this is a chance to earn from your work and be part of something creative, community-driven and inspiring.
The Rules...
But, to make it interesting, here are a few rules:
Entries must be in black and white.
Entries must be square and exactly 12x12 inches — the size of a vinyl album cover!
Finally, entries must – somehow – include some visual reference to Midhurst.
Submission Process
First of all, open a user account and log in to submit
Submit digital artwork suitable for 12 x 12 inches (300 DPI)
Choose how many copies you'd like to offer
Set your own price
Add some biographical detail if you wish
Optional: if you wish to supply a limited number of signed artist's proofs for collectors – we suggest the number should be more than 10% of the limited edition run – then choose the number you wish to make available. These will automatically be priced 20% higher than your normal price.
Terms & Conditions
12.5% admin fee per sale; the rest is yours
You retain full copyright but the Festival will retain sole sales agency rights over the artwork.
We will organise printing, packaging, posting and – if you are providing signed proofs – signing.
Deadlines
Entries must be received by 30th September.
Winners will be notified on 15th October.
Winners will be announced and presented with their award at the Festival Directors Reception (6pm at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall on Friday 14th November).
