The Robin Bibi Band emerged in the late 1990s, founded by guitarist Robin Bibi after years as a session musician with legendary artists like Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Ben E. King, and the Pretty Things. Inspired by Texas-style blues and rock, Robin launched his own project to bring a high-energy, soulful sound to the live music scene.

Their debut album, Blue Thrash Therapy (1997), featured blues standards alongside original tracks and gained immediate attention, including radio play on Paul Jones’ Jazz FM show. This early exposure helped the band gain momentum on the UK live circuit. In 2000, they released their second album, Language of Your Soul, composed mainly of original material, which brought further critical acclaim. Over the years, the Robin Bibi Band has released a total of nine albums and one live DVD.

Their relentless touring schedule and dynamic performances have made them one of the UK’s most respected and hardest-working blues/rock bands. Robin himself has become widely regarded as one of the UK's top blues-rock guitarists.

The band has performed at all the major UK blues festivals and has toured extensively across Europe, Ireland, Scandinavia, and the USA. Robin is currently signed to Ashwood Records, under which he released his most acclaimed album to date, No More A Secret—his first collection of all-original material. This release received rave reviews, significant airplay including on BBC Radio 2, and reached No. 2 in the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) charts.

Robin has received multiple nominations from the British Blues Awards and won Best Guitar Solo from the WRC. The Robin Bibi Band continues to tour, committed to delivering uplifting, high-energy blues/rock that resonates with audiences everywhere.
