MJFBF Local Marketing Network: Please confirm your place before 5pm Friday 27 February

A limited, year-round local partner programme helping drive footfall, visibility, and coordinated marketing across Midhurst — launching Monday 23 March.

Voluntary monthly contributions.

You can stop any time. But we just ask that you give it just six months - after all it will take to build audiences and footfall…

Why we need confirmations by 27th February

We are announcing the full 2026 programme in March, and to do that properly we need to finalise the launch materials in advance — including the website partner directory, the first wave of coordinated promotion, and our external communications. Those materials cannot be left open-ended: they have to be designed, proofed, and locked well in advance.

That is why we need to confirm our Founding Local Supporters before the 13 March briefing.

Confirmation deadline: 5pm Friday 27 February
(We then prepare all content for publication well ahead of the programme launch on Monday 23 March.)

Following Andrew Griffith MP’s letter...

Andrew Griffith is the MP for Arundel and the South Downs and is the Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade and is championing the Midhurst Jazz, Food and Blues Festival.

You can see Andrew’s letter of support HERE.

has By now I hope you will have received a letter from Andrew Griffith MP inviting you to a short briefing on Friday 13 March (1:10–1:50pm), upstairs at The Wheatsheaf (Wool Lane, Midhurst, GU29 9BX) about the next phase of the Midhurst Jazz, Food & Blues programme.

What this is…

As well as the festival, we will also gradually introduce six regular event-types at six different locations. Central scheduling, central ticketing, and a central marketing hub. We have engaged year-round PR activity that will support a coordinated “marketing flywheel”, drawing more people into town, moving them between venues, shops and services through shared promotion, co-branding and partner offers.

Our marketing activity will be underpinned by always-on from PIC PR, the team who did so much to promote the Festival in November so effectively.

Our marketing objectives include:

  • Visibility: you’re listed year-round in the official Partner Directory (by category)

  • Credibility: you receive an official supporter badge for your website/window/signage

  • Coordinated promotion: shared marketing activity across venues, channels and partner comms

  • Offer distribution: periodic “promotional boosts” that put your business in front of audiences

  • Audience habit-building: repeated programming that trains people to think of Midhurst as a lively destination (not a one-off weekend).
